American Breakfast

I have been intrigued by American Breakfast. For a long time, I thought American Breakfast meant Coffee, Cereals and Bread/Pastries. On a few occasions we dined out for Breakfast, I was surprised that a Full American Breakfast included many more items. Indeed, it would fill your tummy and you needn’t worry about having Lunch!

These are some of the Breakfast items which have aroused my interest. I tried most of these at Breakfast Buffets and began making a few of these at home.

  1. Pancakes
  2. Waffle
  3. Crepes
  4. Fried/Scrambled/Poached Eggs
  5. Eggs in a basket
  6. Eggs Benedict
  7. Baked Beans
  8. Stewed Tomatoes
  9. Grilled or Sauteed Mushrooms
  10. Home/House Fries
  11. Hash browns
  12. Tater tots
  13. Mashed Potatoes
  14. Fried Apple
  15. Bacon and Ham
  16. Sausage or Sausage Patties
  17. Corned Beef Hash
  18. Steak
  19. Country Fried Steak

McDonald’s Angus Deluxe Burger

If you are like me, you would most likely focus on the Dollar Menu during your visit to McDonalds. Their dollar menu is good for a quick snack. When we are traveling or having a late-night craving, we go for their Dollar Sandwiches. Their are pretty decent and keep us filled.

What if you are looking for something more than a snack from McDonalds? Like say it’s lunch time and you are really, really hungry but have no good restaurants nearby. In such scenarios, we often end up buying their Angus Deluxe Burger. Yes, this is a premium burger with flavorful ingredients. The beef patty tastes decent and the toppings are even more better. Two slices of American Cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, mayo and pickles fill leave you craving for more. Yes, it is a bit pricey. We pay $3.99 for an Angus Deluxe Burger. It is definitely high in calories – 750 calories for a burger!

Those who are looking for a Meal, I suggest skipping the Angus burger since you will be loading on calories with fries and drink. If you are like us and drink water with your meal, then this burger is a good choice. It will keep you filled for a few hours!

Name – McDonald’s Angus Deluxe

Price –  $3.99

Verdict – Very Good

Score – 8/10

Five Guys Menu with Prices

I love Five Guys. They serve fresh, juicy burgers which leave me craving for more. I love all their toppings specially the grilled onions. The burgers are a bit pricey but they are enormous in size! Their “Little” burgers are as big as the regular burgers which you get at any other fast food joint. Their regular burgers are huge with double patties. You cannot beat these burgers for their price.

Here is the Menu for a Five Guys joint in Charlotte, NC. The pricing may vary according to location.

Spring Garden Flowers

Spring Flowers for Decorating Your House

I love adorning my house with fresh flowers. If you love gardening, make sure you get seeds for a few pretty flower varieties when spring is around the corner. They add such a … [Read More...]
